RockOn Workshop 2012
July 16 – July 27 at Berkshire Community College
RockOn is pleased to be offering 2 separate Workshops this season:
RockOn Young Musicians Workshop (in its 10th year)
and
Music Video and Photography Workshop(new this year)
Tuition for either workshop is $250 per week.

In addition to the Young Musicians Workshop, Advanced Classes in Contemporary Harmonic Concepts and Introduction to MIDI Recording Technology—will be offered. These two classes will be held July 16 to July 20 and July 23 to July 27 in the mornings prior to the regular Rock On! workshop that is being offered during those two weeks. These new classes will be taught by Rock On! faculty member Jeff Link. The Advanced Classes are $65 per week or $50 if the student also enrolls in the RockOn Workshop music program.The Rock On 2012 Registration form below includes the music workshop and the advanced classes.
The new Music Video and Photography Workshop, taught by Lee Everett of Fine Line Multimedia, runs concurrently with the RO music sessions, during the same 2 weeks, from 12:00-5:00pm. The video workshop will cover the use of three different types of video capture devices, including smart phones, digital still cameras and professional three chip video cameras. The focus is on capturing live musical performance in conjunction with the ‘Rock-On Workshop’. Students cannot be enrolled in both music and the video workshops in the same season.
