Dan Broad
A seven year veteran of Rock On! Dan Broad has been one of the most sought after bassists in Western New England for over 20 years. He has performed in nearly every state in the union and several European countries including Italy, France, Switzerland and Spain. Splitting his time between Bass guitar and string bass, Dan not only maintains a busy performance schedule, but also teaches aspiring bass players of all ages. He is well versed in many musical genres including jazz, blues, folk, and classical as well as rock and roll. He has studied bass with Alice Spatz, Salvatore Macchia, and Mark Dresser and holds a degree in string bass studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dan has played on dozens of recordings, most recently Albert Cummings Feels So Good in 2008. Other recent projects include The Rev Tor Band (rock), The Jeff King Band (blues), Bernice Lewis (singer-songwriter), The North Shire String Band (bluegrass), Poke-In- the- Eye (traditional), and The DB Trio (Jazz) Dan currently works as a free-lance bassist and bass instructor. He resides in Cheshire, Massachusetts.

Jeff Link
Curriculum Coordinator and Associate Director
Professional bassist Jeff Link was an Assistant Professor of Music at Berklee College of Music for nine years. He taught in the professional writing department, developed the 5 – week youth summer study program, and acted as student academic and career advisor. He created and implemented a 2 – year contemporary music school at Selkirk College in Canada. He has toured internationally, composed for film, and released several CDs. Jeff will teach contemporary music theory, songwriting, and develop bands.He has toured world-wide with many world class artists from Jazz to Broadway, including Guitarist Robben Ford, Jazz great Marty Morrell , Pop star Sarah Brightman to name a few. Has scored many independent films. He brings 20 years of professional playing and insight to the program.
